To provide a comprehensive approach to maintaining safety within a defined environment, we offer several versions of the SECURE curriculum.

Our goal is to provide excellent skills across the board. These versions have been geared to maximize the time and effectiveness of training of those with varied roles in crisis management.

The following chart gives a brief synopsis each version. More detailed descriptions are also available.

SECURE Standard version The standard SECURE curriculum is designed for long-term caregivers such as parents or staff who provide daily, one-to-one support of people with identified behavioral challenges or potentially unsafe actions. This includes roles such as families, parents (foster and natural), educators, counselors, direct care staff, security and others. More details...
  Physical intervention is not a required component of the standard curriculum although it is typically included. This is an option for those long-term caregivers who do not have exposure to physical agression. More details...
SECURE Elements+ version Specifically designed for long-term care providers, SECURE Elements+ features full exploration of the Prevention, De-escalation and Postvention sections (as in the Standard Curriculum). It also includes the Self-Protection skills. More details...
SECURE Elements version When attendees of any job function are more likely to encounter to crisis or dangerous behavior they need more complete training to ensure they have all the necessary skills to protect themselves. SECURE™ Elements covers most aspects of the SECURE curriculum. More details...
SECURE Primer version The SECURE Primer provides exposure of the SECURE curriculum without the full training. This is ideal for individuals who work in roles which typically have cursory or incidental interaction with individuals with potentially uncertain behavior. This includes roles such as administrative staff, hospitality staff and regular visitors or volunteers among others. More details...
